Weekly pool service includes 48 visits per year. Depending on your service day, you may be provided with pool service five times during some months. When this occurs, we will NOT charge you any additional fee. To take this into account, Blue Crystal Pool Service takes four weeks of partial chemical service only during the cooler months.
Due to the standard 48-week billing procedure, Blue Crystal Pool Service does not provide full service during the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and Memorial days. These breaks are usually taken during the cooler months, and we inform all customers of the break in partial chemical service only before each week.
Please have the gate unlocked the day of service or furnish us with a key. Also, keep all unfriendly dogs inside while your pool undergoes service. Blue Crystal Pool Service will attempt to do all within its power to ensure that your animals do not leave the yard during our service visit; however, we will not be responsible for lost pets and ask for your cooperation in this matter.
Blue Crystal Pool Service charges a $20.00 spring stabilizer fee. The average pool uses about 30 pounds of cyanuric acid (stabilizer) each year. Unfortunately, over the winter months, the stabilizer is diluted because of excessive rains. This annual charge helps us defray the cost of reconditioning the pool water in preparation for the summer heat, sun, and swimming pleasure. We include this annual fee in your April billing.
We stand behind our work with a one-year warranty against workmanship defects.
$95.00 extra charge for any repairs worked on all holidays or weekends.
We guarantee your pool will be algae-free if you use Blue Crystal all year round. Please do not add any other chemicals to your pool, and instruct children to use the restroom before jumping into the pool. Uric acid from urine will neutralize pool chemicals almost instantly and cause eye irritation.
You may swim again 30 minutes after our service visit. Our chemicals are perfectly safe for your pool equipment, so there is no need to turn off your pool pump after we service the pool (unless otherwise stated).
If your pool has a cover on it, it should be removed or folded back on the day of service. Please assist us on this matter.
The mineral content of your water increases every day. This is due to evaporation which removes only distilled water and leaves the minerals behind. In time, these minerals begin depositing on the walls of the pool, and we call this gradual buildup "staining." Blue Crystal Pool Service will not be held responsible for any staining of the pool's finish.
Chlorine and filtering can keep the water sanitary and crystal clear; however, they do not affect minerals. That is an entirely separate and unique issue that requires another type of product. Blue Crystal encourages all of our customers to consider using a sequestering or chelating agent, or stain prevention, to protect their investment from mineral stains. By doing so, you may eliminate or postpone the need of having to acid wash the pool.
Blue Crystal has available to our customers what we consider the best sequestering agent on the market today. For more information, please call our office.

Service is payable in advance and billed on the first of each month for the current month of service. Past due is the 20th of the month. If we do not receive your balance by this time, a delinquent balance will show on your following statement. If we receive no payment by the 15th of the next month, we will discontinue services until we receive payment. There will be a $15.00 charge for all returned checks.
If the service day falls on a holiday, service will be 1-2 days before or after the typical day.
We complete repairs under $35 as a matter of routine maintenance. The customer will approve any amount over that.
The customer's responsibility is to unlock the gate on the day of service or provide Blue Crystal Pool Service with a key to gain access to the pool. If you lock your entrance on the day of service, we will not jump the gate/fence to service the pool. A service slip will be left at the front door advising that we were not able to service the pool. We will return the following week on the regular service day to service the pool. A $25 trip charge will be applied to your account if you ask us to return to the pool the same week the pool was inaccessible.
Customers with Cartridge or DE filters will need to have their filters cleaned a minimum of two times per year. Blue Crystal Pool Service charges $89.00 to $189.00 quarterly or biannually for this service and will contact you when it is time for them to be cleaned.
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain the proper water level. If the water level is low on service day, we will turn off your equipment, and we will leave a note advising that you add water. Failure to maintain the proper water level may result in severe damage to the pool equipment.
Due to environmental conditions such as lightning storms, harsh rains, high winds, and other acts of nature, it may not be possible to give your pool full service on your service day. However, we will check the chlorine, pH, and alkalinity levels, and we will adjust regardless of weather conditions.
